As we come to the end of another academic year, I’m sure we can all agree 2019/2020 has brought challenges, emotions and scenarios we could not have imagined.
Some settings may have had to temporarily close their doors for the first time in their business’ history, others may have been able to care for Keyworker children, possibly on reduced numbers of children and staff and some branches may have combined to optimise their staff and care occupancy.
However we reflect on the past few months, here at eyLog Ltd we hope that our systems have enabled you to communicate effectively, easily and proactively with your staff and parents. Whilst also allowing administration and HR data to be managed efficiently and smoothly as the needs of the staff and the setting may have constantly been changing. Who had heard of the word furlough before March??!!😂

The class of 2020 may not have had the ending, to what for some children may have been years of care, love and learning from their nursery practitioners, in the way we would have anticipated and planned, but what we must all remember is how far, as naturally caring and problem solving individuals that we are within the childcare profession, we have come.
There may have been many things that have been out of our control, and as we are slowly starting to make progress to get back to the occupation we love and provide a service we are passionate about, you all should be incredibly proud of yourselves and the support you have shown towards each other and your parents.
